Sweepstakes: Healthy Kids Running Series may conduct sweepstakes through both the National Office as well as individual race Series. Rules and regulations for each sweepstakes (including eligibility, start and end date, and value of prize) varies and can change at any time. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. There is no purchase necessary to enter a Healthy Kids Running Series sweepstakes. To enter any sweepstakes without purchase, email info@healthykidsrunningseries.org.
Healthy Kids Running Series is, from time to time, the recipient of other organization’s sweepstakes and entry is bound by the terms and conditions of those sweepstakes and not Healthy Kids Running Series.
Contests: Healthy Kids Running Series may conduct contests whereas cash/prizes are awarded based on placement in a race. Eligibility, start and end date, and value of prize varies and stated at the time of entry.
Awards: Healthy Kids Running Series provides awards for participation and placement in its events. Generally, medals are provided to all participants, but this is subject to change at any time.
Trophies are generally awarded based on points earned throughout the Series, but this is subject to change at any time. Depending on the total number of runners some Programs may award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies, some may only award 1st. This varies by location and division and can change from one season to the next. Some locations also only begin awarding trophies when runners reach the timed divisions (1/4 mile and up). Healthy Kids Running Series does not guarantee trophies to any participant and does not offer trophies for sale. Please contact the local Community Coordinator for the trophy policy of each Program.
Healthy Kids Running Series is a fun event for young children and as such does not use timing, chips, or photo/video finish technology. The Community Coordinator or one of their designated representatives or volunteers, is responsible for monitoring the finish and judging the order of finishers with their naked eye. Disputing results is a violation of the Code of Conduct and will result in disciplinary action.
Adults are reminded that this is an event for children and should set a good example for them to follow.

Using a unique link provided upon registration, referrals are tracked and after three complete registrations the referrer receives an automatic $10 refund. Exact referral swag items are subject to changes at any time. Registration transfers are ineligible for the referral rewards program.
Healthy Kids Running Series believes that every child who wants to participate should be able to, regardless of financial ability. The Registration Assistance fund is dedicated to covering the registration fees for those in need of financial support and aims to serve children who are eligible for the Federal Child Nutrition Program for free or reduced lunch fees.
